The Honolulu Star-Advertiser is an American daily newspaper based in Honolulu in the state of Hawaii. In the state, it is said to be the largest newspaper and has good number of daily readers.

History –

This newspaper is the founded by combining two newspapers. The Honolulu Star-Bulletin was owned by the Black Press Ltd. Company, and then the company purchased The Honolulu Advertiser which was owned by the Gannett Corporation.
Later in 2010, the both papers were merged and the official name The Honolulu Advertiser was given to the newspaper. Dennis Francis is the publisher of the newspaper whereas Frank Bridgewater is serving as the present editor.

Editions –

Before the merging of newspapers, the Honolulu Advertiser was printed in broadsheet format whereas the Honolulu Star-Bulletin in tabloid format. But, present editions of The Honolulu Star-Advertiser newspaper published in the broadsheet format. Through its editions, the newspaper covers the good quality news and distributes all over the state.

Circulation –

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser has a daily circulation of 209,915 as per 2012. This newspaper is said to be the largest circulated newspaper in the state.
